The city of Dilbeek launched earlier this year the project "Dilbeek voor durvers".
The 'Dilbeek for Durvers' trajectory offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to start up a business at one of the predetermined preferred locations in the core of Dilbeek. The intention is to test the concept in a qualitative way and then, if it is undoubtedly a great success, to grow it to a permanent location in Dilbeek.
"Pioneering concept"
Units will be placed at a number of well-considered locations in which entrepreneurs can test their concept. Via these locations, both physically and visually, a link is made with the existing businesses and with the assets at the core. For the units, there is collaboration with Office-Drop, a Dilbeek company that produces (garden) offices, outbuildings and other units with an emphasis on quality. Uniform-looking units were chosen that can be stylishly integrated into the public space. The units are finished from A-Z and delivered ready to move in. The entrepreneur can then further tailor the interior to the concept. There can be 10 units in operation at the same time. The 'Dilbeekse Durvers' can try out their concept for a maximum of 1 year. During this period, efforts are also being made to eventually grow to a permanent location in Dilbeek.
